Tim’s practice today focuses on intellectual property litigation. Immediately upon passing the bar, Tim became involved in litigation over fiberglass entry doors -- Therma-Tru v. Peachtree Doors. Over the next six years, that litigation went through three trials and a successful appeal. Since that time, Tim has represented clients in courts across the country in a variety of industries. Those cases have involved not only prosecuting and defending patent infringement matters, but also trade dress and contract disputes. Recently, Tim secured summary judgment for a Fortune 100 company in the Eastern District of Texas in a case involving dial-up Internet access. Tim also writes opinions for clients and, when necessary, participates in designing around competitors’ patents. Tim is an inventor on two United States patents.
